Operator and scope

Gridiron Gambit is operated by Mark Hernandez, an individual based in Texas, United States. These terms cover your use of our game accounts, website, and online game services.

For the iOS app, the app license is governed by [Apple's Standard End User License Agreement]. These terms supplement that license for our services; they do not replace it or reduce rights you have under applicable law. Our [Privacy Policy] explains information handling.

Eligibility and agreement

The service is intended for players 13 years of age or older. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms and permit your use. Do not create an account if you are under 13. Please read these terms before creating or using a game account. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account. Contact us if you need assistance with an existing account or purchase.

 

Accounts and guest play

Provide an email address you are authorized to use when registering an email account. Keep credentials secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

 

Guest accounts also store game information. Guest access and progress may be lost if the app's credentials or local data are lost; recovery may not be possible without a way to verify ownership. A game account is separate from the Apple account used to purchase the app.

Do not impersonate others or put private, unlawful, hateful, or abusive information in public player or team names.

 

Fair play and acceptable use

 

Do not:

- Cheat, manipulate results, or use unauthorized automation to gain an unfair advantage.

- Exploit vulnerabilities, tamper with server communications, or access another player's account or data.
- Harass or threaten other players or use discriminatory or sexually explicit public names.
- Disrupt the service, send abusive challenges, or bypass legitimate account restrictions.

- Upload or submit content that infringes another person's rights.

 

Report suspected abuse to admin@gridirongambit.app. Report security vulnerabilities privately without accessing or exposing other people's information.

 

Public names and submitted information

You retain any rights you have in names or other material you submit. You give us permission to store, process, and display those submissions as reasonably needed to provide the game, show profiles and matches, address abuse, and comply with law. This permission does not give us ownership of your personal information or authorize unrelated advertising uses.

We may remove or replace inappropriate names and restrict accounts for serious or repeated violations, fraud, or risks to users or the service. Where reasonably possible, we will explain restrictions and allow you to request review by contacting our support email. Urgent security or safety action may occur before notice.

 

Purchases and game content

The initial iOS release is an upfront-paid app with **no in-app purchases**. Apple handles App Store transactions. For a purchase or refund issue, use [Apple's refund guidance](https://support.apple.com/en-us/118223) or contact us for help identifying the appropriate support route. Refund eligibility is subject to the applicable store rules and consumer law.

Game cards, scores, and progression are gameplay features, not cash, investments, or redeemable prizes. You may not sell or transfer accounts or game progress through our service.

The app, artwork, music, code, and other game materials belong to Mark Anthony Hernandez or the relevant rights holders/licensors. Your rights to use the app are governed by the applicable app license. Nothing here restricts uses permitted by law or applicable open-source licenses.

 

Online availability, updates, and balance

Online features require an internet connection and functioning backend services. Device, operating-system, or connection limitations can affect availability.

 

We may update cards, effects, balance, interfaces, and features to maintain and improve the game. We do not promise that particular strategies, rankings, or game balance will remain unchanged.

 

Maintenance and unexpected interruptions can occur. If we plan a material reduction or discontinuation of paid services, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable and honor applicable consumer obligations. Nothing here promises indefinite online operation or removes statutory remedies.

 

Account deletion and ending use

You may stop using the service at any time. In **Settings > Account**, choose **Delete Account** or **Delete Guest Account** and confirm to initiate deletion. Contact support if you cannot access your account.

 

Deletion removes associated active gameplay records, including shared matches and matchup histories involving the deleted account. Other players' already-earned aggregate totals are not reversed. Limited operational records and provider backups are addressed in the Privacy Policy.

 

Deleting a game account is distinct from uninstalling the app, signing out of a registered account, or requesting a store refund. Deleted progress generally cannot be restored.

 

Responsibility and consumer protections

You are responsible for your own conduct and for keeping credentials secure. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or free of every error.

 

Applicable app-license provisions govern warranties and liability for the licensed app to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a warranty, remedy, or other consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not add mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a new fixed liability cap.

 

For concerns about the service or these terms, contact us first so we can try to resolve them. This does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or contacting an appropriate authority.

 

Changes to these terms

We will publish updated terms with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice and request agreement where required. Changes will not retroactively remove rights that cannot lawfully be removed.
